Here is the story of how I got my username and what it means. soas95, or S. O. A. S., stands for Shadows Of A Soul. Bear with me:
I was making my google email account forever ago and I was thinking up a cool, teen angsty username, so after much thought, I came up with Shadows Of A Soul, because it's like not focusing in the brilliant essence that the soul is, rather, it focuses on the shadows that its light causes. So it portrays me in a way, because I am always drawn to dark things because of their depth, in comparison to the rather shallow, bright, and happy things. It also shows how, while most people might just stare at the glowing soul, i'll look off to the side, noticing and scrutinizing all the subtleties and collateral effects it causes. The dancing shadows it projects. I also think that it evokes the thought of a lingering emptiness that lay where a soul once glowed. It speaks volumes about who I am, I think. Or at least I hope it does.

I like it when people give some thought to their names and pseudonyms, as a writer I have a lot of different names I use and they all mean something different to me. I notice people tend to use birth year in their names, is that where the 95 came from? (If so, me too! >w<)
